The Massillon Lions Club first meeting for the 2020-2021 year was held on 09/15/2020. In order to practice social distancing, the meeting was held at the Santangelo Party Center, located at 1008 9th St in Massillon, Ohio (normally held at the top of the Lincoln Theatre). It was great to get everyone together physically, as meetings have been done virtually since the beginning of the pandemic.
The guest speaker at the meeting was Kim Kovesci, MAPS Executive Director. His presentation was very educational and the club learned a lot about what MAPS does and what it means to the community.
